The Lakes
Coen Ridge Recreation Reservoirs are beautiful lakes constructed solely for the purpose of fishing and recreation. They are located in a natural basin high enough to view the surrounding area while enjoying the sport of fishing and camping at a site that displays some of the most beautiful scenery in Wyoming.
One lake has a capacity of 734 acre-feet and covers a surface of 53 acres. The other has a capacity of 551 acre-feet and a surface area of 43 acres. Although they are large enough to accommodate motorboats, it seems advisable to permit only boats with oars or electrically propelled boats.
It is the plan of the management to keep these lakes unpolluted and the surrounding area free from litter so the member may enjoy their vacation. The lakes are presently stocked with Rainbow, brook, brown, and cutthroat trout weighing up to 15 pounds or more.
Camping
Members are more than welcome to camp overnight. The lakes have established roads around them to find the perfect camping site.
Also you are more than welcome to camp in the main camping area where electricity is provided. There will be a $10 nightly fee for electric hookup.
Please remember to keep your campsite clean and to pick up all trash. Management is allowed to revoke membership at any time.
Also please stay on established roads.
Creel Limits
Upper lake Creel limit of 3 fish. Bait fishing is allowed.
Lower lake (trophy lake) catch and release only with artificial lures.
