Mule Deer

Our area contains a very good population of Mule Deer.  Over the years we have established an excellent record of harvesting trophy Muley Bucks.  We hunt primarily on private ranches bordering or near national forest.  This gives us privacy as well as a good chance at migrating mountain Mulies.

How your deer hunt will go:
Eat breakfast before daylight. Following breakfast we will drive up to twenty miles on highway, county roads, or two tracks.  We will then hunt 30 minutes before sunrise and after the morning is over and if the hunt is unsuccessful we will head back to the lodge for mid day breakfast and lunch.   We will allow the deer to stay in their beds for the mid part of the day.  Mid afternoon we will head back out and set up before the deer start dropping into the meadows at night.

Special!!! This hunt work out great with deer/antelope combos.  (link to price page)  During the day after the morning deer hunt we have three great antelope areas to choose from.

Tyler, I just wanted to thank you again for a fantastic hunt.  You and your staff made us feel welcome and treated us like we were old friends. Everything was first rate, from the lodging, to the food and equipment.  Guide Troy Laird was absolutely fantastic with my son Jacob. Jacob felt comfortable with him, learned from him and enjoyed his company. I was worried that he might be treated differently as a kid, but he told me that this hunt was the most fun he had ever had. Seeing Troy jumping around and high-fiving with Jake on the prairie after he shot his goat was worth it. I truly believe that Troy was as happy for Jake as I was. It means a lot as a parent to see your kids happy like that and I want to thank you all for a great father-son experience. We are both ready to come back again and I can guarantee I will bring my younger son out for his first western big game hunt.
